The just concluded All African Games had a mixed bag of fortune for Kenya. The traditional clean sweep events met stiff challenge from the rest of Africa, who no doubt have been strategising to get back the glory of Field and Track events. One area that caught the awe of all was Kenya's performance at the Swimming Pool where Jason Dunford’s harvest of medals in Algeria has rekindled fond memories of previous multiple gold medallists at the All Africa Games.
We, Old Stareheans celebrate Jason, and moreso his coach who is an old boy - Andrew Nderu. Andrew - You make us Proud!
