In two years (2009), Starehe will be celebrating its GOLDEN Jubillee. The Old Starehe Society is planning to publish "The Story of Starehe 1959 - 2009". It is intended that the final product will be in print and multi media format.
The publication is intended to capture the entire past and present of our beloved school, hopefully with input from as many (if not all) old boys, old teachers and workers, sponsors, parents and associates of the Centre. It will also have a Starehe's WHO's WHO and WHO WAS WHO section and the entire REGISTER of Staff and Students PAST and PRESENT. To facilitate in the Research, your input will be required. While many interviews will be conducted at the mbuzi, dinner, Founders' Day and other Old Boys fora, you can also assist in drafting a brief of your own details, with the following format: Years in Starehe: From _ to _ Name: Section: Primary, Seondary, Technical, College, Upper School: House: Interest while at School: Major Achievement in SBC: Current Profession: Current Employment: Major After SBC Achievement: Family Status: Number of Children: Personal Address: Email Contact: Mobile Phone: Landline contact: Digital Picture Now/ Then:
