Kenya Needs Us NOW!

Three hundred thousand Kenyans, including 100,000 children, are today in need of the most basic things in Life-Blood, Food, Clothing, Tents (not even Houses.)Starehe stands for giving back to community; we cannot therefore watch silently believing that someone else will help.

The Old Starehean Society is calling on alumni, friends and colleagues to join the nation in making a contribution to the lives of thousands of Kenyans now displaced from their homes. Our duty is to help them regain their basic dignity.

To support this cause, please make your financial contribution to the Old Starehian Society (OSS) account at the Standard Chartered Bank, A/C 0102095793100, Harambee Avenue Branch, Nairobi.

You are also welcome to draw cheques in favor of Old Stareheian Society and make material donations, please drop this off at the OSS Office at Starehe Boys’ Centre.

YOu can also make arrangements for us to collect them from your offices.

On Sunday 17th February 2008, we are appealing to all Alumni, friends and partners to join OSS at Starehe Boys’ Centre for a Blood Donation exercise starting at 11a.m.For further enquiries contact: Paul Olungae - 0722-388-075, Loise Wasonga-0722-398-641, A.
